Election monitoring

On June 5, 2014, at BTA Press Club a press conference was held, where the team of ISI presented the final results of the media monitoring and key issues of the elections’ monitoring, part of the "Monitoring the 2014 European Elections."

ISI team received and summarized information sent by the observers of the Election Day - May 25, 2014, and of the previous day.

As of May 22, 2014, the data in the public register of the Central Election Commission shows that civil observers reached a number of 60 740 people, from 36 NGOs

On May 25, 2014 during the elections for Members of the European Parliament of the Republic of Bulgaria in Sofia /55 sections/ and district Pazardjik, an EXPERIMENTAL MACHINE voting will be held in 100 polling stations.

At a special press conference on May 14, 2014 at BTA Press Club, the team of the Institute for Social Integration /ISI/ presented interim results on media monitoring as part of the activities of "Monitoring the 2014 European Elections."

On 10 and 11 May 2014, the third training for coordinators of civil observers on the Election Day was held in the town of Veliko Tarnovo.

The second training of civil observers was held on 26 and 27 April 2014 in Stara Zagora.

Providing media packages and presenting the activity of the training unit within CEC – these were two of the main topics of the session of the Public Council of CEC, which took place on April 22th, 2014.
