Election monitoring

In the period 13-14 September, a training seminar of ISI coordinators of civil observers took place in Bankia. The main rights and obligations of the participants in the electoral process were presented as well as the most common violations, for which they should be careful. CEC representative Rumiana Siderova was among the lecturers, who gave the trainees valuable directions for the monitoring as a result of her personal and professional experience.

Civil monitoring is traditional for the Institute, which will once again send trained and competent observers to monitor the integrity of the vote. For these elections, except for the civil monitoring, the experts of ISI will perform media monitoring too, which will give voters a clearer picture of the messages of the leading political parties in order to support their informed choice.
