Election monitoring

As of May 22, 2014, the data in the public register of the Central Election Commission  shows that civil observers reached a number of 60 740 people, from 36 NGOs. Even the Bulgarian Association of Retired /BAR/ has been registered as an observer in the elections, with one registered observer.

The Institute for Social Integration /ISI/ took part in the elections’ monitoring of the Presidential and Local Elections in 2011, had registered observers for the Parliamentary Elections in 2013 and for the Elections for Members of the European Parliament of the Republic of Bulgaria - 2014. This year, 416 people will participate in the elections’ monitoring through the organization.
