White Paper on Local Government

"White Paper on Local Government" (2011) is a joint project of ISI and "Friedrich Ebert" Foundation - Bulgaria Office. The project includes three trainings for young members of the Left, with the following content of the educational programmes:

Training "Public policies and election messages" (May 2011):

The topics include: Political information; Political documents - policy paper, statement, election platform, political messages; Analysis - comparative analysis, case study, content analysis, slot analysis, analysis of the opponent; Public interests; Public policies; Communicating policies; Panel "White Paper on Local Government" - a case study. Team to carry out the training: Antonii Todorov, Tatiana Tomova, Elena Harizanova.

Training "Working with voters" (June, 2011):

The topics include: Electoral process; Polls; Defining the target groups; Campaign; Working with voters, including with party structures and Working with media; Campaigning with target groups; Panel "White Paper on Local Government" - a case study.

Team to carry out the training: Yuri Aslanov, Ivelin Nikolov, Nidal Algafari, Elena Harizanova.

Training "Candidates" (September, 2011):

The topics include: Left and Right in the public policy; Local authorities and local self-government; Problem - policies; Projects in local government. Meetings with voters; Public behaviour - communication, media, debates; Panel "White Paper on Local Government" - a case study.
