On September 23, in BTA Press Club a press conference was held, where the Institute for Social Integration presented the activities within the project "Monitoring of the local elections and the referendum, 2015".

The Institute for Social Integration (ISI) - Sofia, in partnership with the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS) - Brussels, monitors the pre-election and election process in Bulgaria for the fourth year. Both organizations aim at supporting democratic, transparent and fair elections for local authorities and national referendum, at achieving a deterrent effect on potential violations of the upcoming elections, and at increasing citizens’ participation in the electoral process. The monitoring follows four stages: analysis of the electoral legislation, media monitoring, information campaigns and monitoring of the Election Day.
