Strahil Deliiski about brands and identity of the protests

Strahil Deliiski is an assistant in "Political Science" Department at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", where he teaches Political Communications and Political Anthropology. He was also part of the first team of ISI during its establishment, and has been part of the lecturers’ team ever since.

"In recent years, more and more researchers start talking about democracy as a brand, which is being attached with lifestyle attributes. Thus, protests cease being a radical form of political resistance but turn (for most people) into a source of consumption of identity.”
